During the design and construction of the Zions Technology Center, I played an active role in all aspects of this project, ensuring Zions Bancorporation's best interests were met throughout. This 200 million dollar project came in on-budget and on-time, while being constructed during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Communicated closely with Project Manager Gardner Company, making decisions, acting as liaison with the owner.
Served as liaison between Zions, Gardner Company, WRNS, Method Studio, Kleinfelder, Terracon, Okland Construction, Layton Construction, Midvale City, the EPA, and many others.
Kept communication and problem-solving efforts going forward, overcoming a standstill that threatened the project to eliminate engineering defects for the utility corridor trenches - working closely will everyone involved via lots and lots of conversations, making design proposals to the EPA, and personally assessing site conditions and engineering,
Monitored the liners and trenches for integrity, researched and made decisions on landscaping plantings, helped develop and approved plan for water sumps to meet EPA requirements.
Worked closely with C-Move to bring the first 800 of 2,000 Zions Bank employees into the newly constructed ZTC building for its opening in June 2022.
Worked closely with commissioning agent for equipment start-up and with Fulcrum, a third-party vendor who inspected and audited the new building, working with them to ensure the financials were on schedule to pay all contractors.
