As a PG (process guide) in AFE 1 I assisted both PA's and AM's on the floor with task's of many categories. I tracked on PPW (packables per wall) and taking the necessary route to meet standards. I communicated with my PA on the attrition board assisting with backfilling with AA's leaving early. Kept a consistent flow of insuring rate goals are being met while also making sure rebin stations aren't having a high number of missed diverts. When reaching the EOS (end of shift) I take an initiative to ensure clean and tidy work areas such things would consist of removing downstacked totes, taking embassy to problem solve. double stacking induct station, moving empty trays to their designated area and disposing of any trash.
In AFE1 I cleared jams weather they were small easy fixes or if they were difficult jams with higher priority. Small jams would consist of me clearing rebin, induct, and slam line jams. I also was responsible for more higher priority jams such as tray sorter merge, sorter line, sorter divert jams. I also contributed with making sure sort side is at tray count with the corresponding wall count and WIP.
While in training for the sort side path in AFE 1, I quickly gain the attention of the leadership team due to my quick learning and fast paced work flow. Once I spent more time in the sort process path I managed to quickly become the strongest sorter, reaching high rates and ensuring packers have plenty of work in the walls resulting in more volume being pushed out.
