From 1998-2002. My duties involved reviewing, verifying and correcting all the monthly accident reports. Daily accounting and correlation of all vehicle summons issued at accident prone locations. Weekly training of officers in accident report and aided card regulations. Evaluating and estimating vehicles for damage. Inventorying stolen vehicles. Examining vehicles for fraudulent damage. Coordinating with other Highway Safety Officers to discover trends in vehicle accident report fraud. Actively responding to stolen vehicle and vehicle accident radio calls. Working with tow companies and auto body shops. Coordinating with insurance companies to determine fault or no fault judgments during civil and criminal litigation. Expediting accident reports to the public and private sector. Being called upon by various insurance companies to courtroom proceedings. Managing an office staff of five.
