Also, establishing a ‘customer panel’ acting as a ‘strategy gate’ (decision maker) into strategic and go-to-market planning.
  • Introduction of new revenue models, including introducing new revenue streams such as data monetisation (e.g. selling aggregate customer intent and behavioural data to credit bureaus) and developing and rolling-out an international 'Banking-as-a-Service' / 'Loyalty-as-a-Service' proposition.
  • Product and Service innovation, including charitable donations at point of sale and 'Advance' – short-term retailer led micro-lending founded upon HyperJar data (including savings, retailer spend and loyalty) – digitalising the traditional ‘corner shop tab’, customer paying back borrowing by cashback.

Barclays (US): Addressing portfolio challenges of high inactivity rates, low spend (particularly non-brand spend) balances and engagement, created the world's first and only lifecycle retail co-brand strategy – allowing customers to dip in and out of rewards and, features and benefits, across multiple retail co-brand portfolios resulting in Barclays becoming the largest new programme co-brand issuer in the US.
Garanti (Turkey): Devised and developed a Loyalty-as-a-Service model for 'Bonus', the world's most successful banking and retail rewards solution, building scale and solving the challenge of no ‘on-us' domestic interchange in Turkey – Garanti processes all loyalty transactions, charging fees 'in lieu' of interchange – growing revenues by 87% in 12 months and adding five million new customers (with transaction data) from traditionally competitor banks.
