Work History

Foreman

Petro Guardian
09.2025 - Current
  • I came on board with Petro Guardian as a Foreman, which is my current position. I am over the San Angelo area district.
  • I manage and coordinate daily tasks and workflow on job site.
  • I have the ability to adapt quickly to changes in project requirements or conditions.
  • Safety is my #1 Priority, making sure All my team members know exactly how to complete any task assigned in the safest manner.
  • Petro Guardian has given me the opportunity to continue in my career field and still be close to home as my daughter is a senior in High School.

General Foreman /VP of Operations

Powerline Alliance
11.2024 - 08.2025
  • I started with Powerline Alliance as a GF over all the crews. At first sight it seemed to be a great opportunity. My Son being 18 and graduated, I was able to start him in the Powerline Industry. With my daughter being 17 and a junior in High School, it allowed me to still be close to home.
  • After I brought on up to 12 customers and 7 employees, I was promoted to VP of Operations.
  • As GF I coordinated equipment usage and scheduling to optimize workflow efficiency across multiple teams.
  • I facilitated the training of team members on safety protocols, operational procedures, and equipment handling practices.
  • I also assisted in troubleshooting equipment issues to minimize downtime and maintain project timelines.
  • I conducted site inspections to monitor progress, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulations.
  • As VP I facilitated communication between crew leaders and management to align project goals and expectations.
  • I implemented quality control measures to ensure compliance with industry standards. For example, Task Completion Packages, TCP. I required a TCP to be submitted prior to next assignment
  • Unfortunately Powerline Alliance had unforeseen financial issues and went out of business. I was shielded from the financial problems, unaware and caught completely off guard.

Foreman

Jett Electric
01.2022 - 11.2024
  • I opened up Jett Electric's Powerline Division. They only had an Electrical Division, I was their first Lineman. I came on as a Foreman and was given a small crew.
  • I overseen the construction and maintenance for several Oilfield companies in the area.
  • Jett Electric is an excellent company and my 2 kids and I just moved here to San Angelo Tx from Kermit Tx. They provided me with an opportunity to continue work in my career field as I am a single Dad of my two children. They are an extremely small company with wages being on the very low end.
  • I was offered a GF position with Powerline Alliance and accepted the position.

Foreman/General Foreman

Tessco PLS
07.2016 - 12.2022
  • I came on board with Tessco PLS Group as a Foreman in July of 2016 in Kermit Tx. I was given a 4 man crew and lead over the maintenance division.
  • After 4 years the GF retired and I was promoted to a General Foreman position over 3- 4 man crews.
  • I implemented process improvements that enhanced team productivity and efficiency that I had learned. As well as some of my own, for example the TCP or Task Completion Package.
  • A TCP allowed me to track my crews completion on certain assigned job task, ensuring quality workmanship as well as spec specific standards.
  • Tessco PLS Group was bought by Primoris Corp and the Kermit Division was dissolved. The kids and I decided to move to San Angelo Tx, where we currently live.

Lineman/Foreman/General Foreman

JW Powerline
06.2007 - 07.2016
  • I started with JW Powerline as a B lineman, they had an apprenticeship program that I quickly joined and continue to log hours.
  • After 1 year I made it to an A lineman status, mostly energized work daily.
  • After 3 years I made foreman over a 4 man crew and was awarded all special projects. I built multiple Transmission lines, made major road crossings, conducted reconducts on existing energized circuits.
  • After 6 years I was promoted to General Foreman and was given 4- 4 man crews to oversee.
  • I supervised lineman crews to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
  • I coordinated installation, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground electrical systems.
  • I trained and mentored junior linemen, foreman and crew members on best practices and safety protocols.
  • I also managed project timelines to optimize resource allocation and workflow efficiency.
  • As well as analyzed budget and performance data for each crew in order to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies. Essentially each crew was their own entity with their own budget to adhere to. This gave me the ability to track profit/loss margins between each crew and adjust accordingly.
  • I received full custody of my two children when they were 4&5 years old in June 2011. I left JW Powerline in July 2016 in order to move my kids and I to Kermit where I had their family to help me and I was allowed to continue my career as well as raise my kids.
  • JW Powerline was my home for over 9 years, when I left I had over 9300 logged man hours for JW alone. I stopped logging hours after I was promoted to General Foreman.

Groundsman/Operator/Apprentice Lineman

Megadyne Services
01.2005 - 06.2007
  • I started my Powerline Career in January 2005 for Megadyne Services in Kermit Tx.
  • Megadyne offered OJT hour calculation and so I was able to start logging hours.
  • I started as a Groundman and I picked up the trade quickly. It was a small company which allowed me greater opportunities.
  • I advanced into an Operators Position and started setting poles on a de-energized scenario and then into an energized scenario, conducting hot sets.
  • Then I moved into an Apprentice Lineman position and started climbing poles and doing bucket work, mostly de-energized.
  • I stayed with Megadyne services for 2 &1/2 years, leaving with 3800 logged hours.
