  • As a Foreman I have reviewed plans prior to start of projects to identify any long lead items so as not to delay the project.
  • Comb through plans to identify any dimensional conflicts or design flaws.
  • Check submittals against plans for proper construction details.

  • Coordinate with GC and other trades to minimize go back work due to incorrect layout or missing information.
  • Meet with architect, engineer to go over details when necessary. Have good relationship with inspectors.
  • Line up the best crew for tasks being performed. Explain all details and verify they understand. Review work prior to inspections.
  • Train new employees to be safe and to speak up if they are not sure of themselves to avoid injury and loss of production. Never let a green employee work without an experienced partner.
