  • Created a very good rapport with the mechanics
  • Head the out of service list and delegate the various jobs that need to be completed by: mechanics, switchers, fueler, etc
  • Evaluate and determine what repairs need to be conducted, which vendor to call and decide if it is something that can be fixed on site to save time and money
  • Demonstrate and explain how to troubleshoot and/or fix a mechanical issue that an employee is unsure on how to fix
  • Instruct supervisors in various departments and mechanics at different locations to use and understand Trimble (new maintenance system)
  • Support in the decision making with asset evaluation, scrapping, and/or selling trailers to stores
  • Collaborate and communicate with all the Fleet Shop locations to facilitate repairs on Wakefern equipment
