
I have worked in the security field for 32+ years. I last held the position of a shift supervisor {Lieutenant) for 12 years supervising 45-80 officers on any given day. I have had past training as an Unarmed Self Defense instructor for 15 years, Firearms instructor, Use of Force instructor, CPR & first aid instructor, Transportation/high risk transport instructor, Monadnock PR-24 Police Baton instructor, Critical Incident Management, FEMA certified, Instructional skills, Report writing, purchase requisition submission, Use of force investigations, interpersonal communication skills training, leadership training and experience, personnel accountability, Auditor training and certification conducting institutional audits, inspections and policy & procedure compliance, Worked as Tool Control supervisor and auditor over 35+ separate tool cage areas, Team approach to situation resolution, Interaction with inmates, staff and public on a daily basis, computer skills, security camera operation, shift daily reports and logs, assign staff to shift positions, supervise shift personnel by making rounds throughout the institution to assure they are at their respective posts, advise and offer direction if needed and assure they are alert and attentive. Training in fire, sanitation, blood borne pathogen control, health and safety to assure safety and health of employees, safety of institution and fire safety.
