  • Received an assignment to report to a specific location (collision repair shop) after a hail storm to address hail damage claims. Greeted customers as they arrived for their appointments and inspected the damages to their vehicles. Estimated and photographed the damage, uploaded to the insurance company, and explained the process and next steps to the customer.
  • In a shop assist role, I provide assistance to a collision repair shop in handling the additional claims a hail storm would bring. I greeted customers upon arrival and performed an inspection on their vehicle. I completed an estimate and photographed the damage, then notified the estimators at the shop so they could upload the estimate to the insurance company. I also worked with our PDR technicians onsite at the shop to handle any differences in the estimates.

  • Handled property claims in Florida resulting from Hurricane Milton. Established communication with policyholders after claims were filed. Confirmed damages with the homeowner and reviewed field adjuster estimate and photos to validate the damages and to confirm damages were accounted for. Reviewed policy with the homeowner, confirmed deductible, and explained coverage. Provided and setup necessary emergency services for roof tarping, tree removal, water mitigation, and lodging. Issued payments on claim.
  • Received estimates from contractors along with necessary documentation. Reviewed and negotiated repairs, approved additional repairs. Kept in contact with the homeowners during the process.
  • Handled claims from start to end, handling supplemental repairs, approving additional repairs required with approved additional documentation.
  • Received estimates from PA firms. Contacted PA firms and evaluated estimate, additional damage claims, and mitigation bills. Negotiated necessary mitigation directly with the vendors. Dispatched engineers whenever necessary to determine if claimed damage correlates with the loss. Negotiated with the PA's to come to a settlement and send denial letters when required for denial of coverage.
  • Communicated with IA firms to check status of field inspections and supplement approvals.

  • As a field adjuster, I handled catastrophe events with Allstate Insurance and American Family Insurance. I also handled collision claims with Allstate in multiple locations across the country.
  • I also worked inside the office as a desk adjuster, administrative manager, and a file reviewer. As a desk adjuster, I would take calls on the supplement hotline and assist in setting up a supplement assignment or handling the supplement over the phone.
  • As an administrative manager, I was direct support for 20-30 field adjusters and monitored their schedules and performance.

  • I also was deployed as a property desk adjuster for Allstate in 2021 for losses in Texas. I contacted policy holders to determine the damages from the loss. Obtained photos and description of the damage and determined damage was covered under the policy. Also completed virtual inspections of the property with the policy holder to gather enough information to complete an estimate. Completed estimate in Xactimate and emailed estimate to policyholder. Reviewed mitigation invoices and approved for payment. Reviewed claim for ALE Coverage and approved release of funds when applicable.
