This award is given by the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend to an outstanding teacher who has been employed for more than two years and meets the following criteria: Acts in a Christ-like manner, is knowledgeable of subject matter and best practices in teaching, motivates students, is involved in school activities, and relates well with students. Students, parents, and faculty members cast their ballots in early October.
Parents noted that Mr. Rosenbaum has a rapport with the students and a way of connecting with them so they want to do well in class. They stated that this teacher truly cares about students and is a Christ-like role model for everyone.
