Responsible for the supervision, training and medical response of patrollers on the mountain. Also responsible for the implementation of mountain work projects. Training responsibilities included coverage of all Vermont EMT continuing education requirements including review of all state and local protocols. Also involved in mountain search and rescue, high and low angle rescue and toboggan handling skills.

Owned and operated a successful automotive repair business working on foreign and domestic vehicles providing full service and state inspection services with 4 employees. Sold business to employees in 2000. It still remains a successful shop at its original location.
