Work History

Service Manager/General Manager/Service Manager and Store Lead

  • Initially hired as service manager and was responsible for managing a group of technicians and overseeing the charge out of all service tickets
  • Job duties included connecting with customers, conducting monthly meetings, and enforcing a safe working environment
  • Approximately 6 months following hire, I was moved to interim general manager
  • In this role I reported to the CEO and was responsible for all the departments in the branch
  • I prepared and submitted sales forecasts, operational budgets, and balanced revenue against expenses to meet or exceed profitability requirements
  • The main focus of my job was connecting and building relationships with customers
  • I was moved to permanent general manager 1/22
  • Collaborated with other general managers to build sales and service throughout Vermeer Great Plains
  • In February of 2024 the position of general manager was eliminated throughout the company, and I was moved to store lead and service manager
  • In these new positions the job hasn’t changed much other than I am no longer responsible for parts and sales
  • A large expectation of these roles is to build relationships and grow the service department by demonstrating improvements in the completion of the work brought into the department and to serve as a mentor and leader for the store.
