Summary

Dedicated employee and don't like changing from company to company for a few more dollars somewhere else. Almost all work experience has been in the oil field as a rig hand or driller. Very much used to long days and being away from home. Have always been interested in directional and MWD and decided it's time to make the change.

  • Maintain daily, weekly and monthly safety and maintenance logs, and report any discrepancies to my supervisor.
  • Perform preventive maintenance for the rig and individual equipment. Repair or replace damaged equipment. Keep extensive inventory logs for parts on hand , parts used and parts needed for day to day operation. Keep tourly logs for hours running for specific equipment and notify tool pusher as oil or filter changes are approaching.
  • I am the primary mentor for my crew. I train all new hires and help to ensure that they are aware of and follow company policies.

  • I started roughnecking in 2002 at Unit drilling where I worked my way up to driller. When my rig stacked out I went to work at a small company around the house called Thomas which was bought out a few years later by Bronco drilling. I stayed at Bronco until they were bought by Nomac. After a few years with Nomac out north east i came home and was a wood worker for a few years.
