Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• System Operation & Maintenance: Operates computer-based simulators (EST II), ensuring proper functioning of simulated weapons, audio/video systems, and target systems. Performs daily maintenance and setup of the training facility.
• Instruction and Training: Instruct soldiers on marksmanship fundamentals (e.g., aiming, breath control, trigger squeeze). Conducts training for Basic Rifle Marksmanship and collective unit drills.
• Performance Evaluation: Conduct After-Action Reviews (AARs) to provide detailed feedback on Soldier performance and marksmanship metrics.
• Scenario Generation: Sets up and run simulated environments, including day/night, high wind, and varied distances.
• Safety & Certification: Ensured all safety protocols are followed, acting as a certified operator.

• Operated various types of vehicles, ensuring safe and efficient transport of goods and personnel.
• Executed daily preventative maintenance and safety checks on all vehicles to ensure compliance with operational standards.
• Implemented efficient loading and unloading practices to maximize transport capacity and minimize delays.
• Collaborated with team members to enhance operational effectiveness and safety in various environments.
• Maintained accurate records of vehicle inspections and maintenance schedules.

88M NCO Requirements

• MOS Certification: Must be a qualified 88M Motor Transport Operator.
• Security Clearance: Must hold and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
• Driver Qualifications: Must possess a valid military driver's license for heavy tactical vehicles (e.g., PLS, HEMTT, HET).
• Leadership/Training: Must demonstrate proficiency in training Soldiers on convoy operations, preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS), and vehicle recovery.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to endure demanding, long-duration missions and environmental conditions

88M NCO Key Responsibilities

• Convoy Leadership: Plans, organizes, and commands vehicle convoys, conducting route reconnaissance and maintaining security.
• Supervision & Training: Supervises drivers, conducts performance counseling, and trains subordinates on motor transport operations.
• Maintenance Management: Ensures PMCS is conducted, verifies vehicle logbooks, and corrects or reports all vehicle deficiencies.
• Cargo/Load Safety: Manages the loading/unloading of personnel and equipment, ensuring secure cargo transport.
• Logistics & Documentation: Tracks time, mileage, and load data, while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Accountability: Responsible for the health, welfare, and discipline of soldiers, as well as the maintenance of equipment valued in the millions.
