EKG Program
9 MonthsI was selected to be a part of a highly competitive EKG program in High School. With this program I was given the opportunity to shadow at our local hospital. Every week we got to shadow a different clinical department to help determine what we liked the best. This was an amazing opportunity for me because I was able to experience what the hospital setting was like.

Volunteer
1 Month- Assisted in daily care and feeding of shelter animals to ensure their well-being.
- Maintained cleanliness of animal enclosures to promote a safe environment.
- Supported veterinary staff during health check-ups and routine vaccinations for shelter animals.

This EKG program I was apart of in High School gifted me with the amazing opportunity to become EKG certified. We had to pass the certification exam and perform 10 EKGs on fellow classmates to gain the certification. I was able to do both of these and I now am a certified Electrocardiogram Technician.
