I am known as a well rounded, organized and calm person who always meets or exceeds goals. I strive to attend to every detail and am not satisfied unless I have done my absolute best. Throughout my career, I have maintained a very high performance standard while working with many a wide range of colleagues. While working in customer service, I have mastered the art of communication, drive, organizational skills, diversity, and listening skills. In this field, customers must know that you are listening to them and are motivated to meeting their needs. I set my own career goals but also value being part of a team. When errors are made, I look at them as an opportunity to improve. I appreciate feedback on my performance as this creates an environment for me to grow.
From my retirement in 2013, I have enjoyed substitute teaching. This has been a positive experience and I have benefited from being a part of several districts in the area.
I had the privilege of assisting the owner of Baker Memorials in setting stones and preparing stones to be placed in cemeteries. This was a physically demanding job that was a very different experience from my past employment positions. It was very enjoyable and I learned a great deal about working with the public.
For twenty-six years, I had the honor of educating students in grades 1st through 5th grade. I also held the position of Reading Specialist for two years. The impact this role had on my life is immeasurable. Teaching truly is an honorable and noble profession.
Taught elementary students for 26 years resulting in a successful career that led to my retirement.
