  • As the chief psychiatric resident in charge of education at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, I networked between Arrowhead Regional Medical Center Behavioral Health and the San Bernardino Department of Behavioral Health, organized a didactic curriculum for the 2024-2025 academic year, and created new lecture material on evidence-based medicine within psychiatry.
  • Streamlined EPIC clinical documentation processes by creating the note templates used in the hospital by the psychiatric inpatient service, psychiatric consult and liaison service, neurology service, and psychiatric reassessment service for increased efficiency, enabling more focused time on direct patient care.
  • Sought to reduce hospital readmissions by proactively addressing potential risk factors and providing tailored interventions via a PDSA-style QI project (ongoing).
  • Served on the Patient Health and Safety Quality Improvement Committee (PHSQ) from July 2022 to July 2023 to bolster patient safety throughout Arrowhead Regional Medical Center by providing patient safety education on behavioral health topics like suicide prevention.
