David Van Parys

With Precision LLC I worked a Heli Ski contract in Nevada and Washington. Nevada had one AS350b3e and in Washington had two. One AS350b3e and a b3. Now I am in the hangar completing maintenance to get them ready for the fire season

-With Soloy helicopters I have spent time working in the hangar completing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on multiple aircraft models including AS350's, MD500’s, Bell 205’s and BK 117’s. I also worked as a Field Mechanic in multiple locations maintaining AS350’s over a 3–4-month period. I have dealt with environments ranging from seaside to -30f and adapting to those conditions while keeping the aircraft in airworthy condition.

I first started with Soloy in October 2014 and worked thru September 2015. I returned in June 2018 and left in July 2024.

-I worked with Chordline Aviaton maintaining one AS350b3e in Silverton, Co and Alaska for Heli skiing. My job included all aspects of maintaining the aircraft in the field. My other duties included ordering parts thru Airbus and other need materials thru various vendors.

• I spent 10 years in the U.S Coast Guard stationed in various places, 6 years of which was maintaining Airbus AS365 Dauphin's. I was also deployed in the Pacific Ocean and Caribbean Sea on the back of boats conducting drug enforcement missions. Part of this included disassembling the helicopter to fit into various military cargo planes and reassembling it at our start point.
• Other qualifications while enlisted included hoist operator for rescue operations and HITRON gunner for drug enforcement.
