  • Responsible for performing Flow Tests on every Scott Air Pak for over 30 fire departments throughout Long Island.
  • Used many different tools with specifications to torque value and loctites to assure the pak was repaired in the best way.
  • Assured Fire Departments that all Air Paks were safe to be put back into service.
  • Flow Test - pressurizes Scott Air Pak and runs pak through a series of tests to ensure pak is in perfect working order.
  • Ensured Primary and Secondary pressures on the Air Pak reducer to meet their respected pressure requirements.
  • Performed visual tests on all Air Paks before every Flow Test to ensure each respected fire department were using the correct protective equipment.
  • Verified all certificates and parts were up to date and in working order.
  • Replaced any condemned parts which included gauges, straps, harnesses and face pieces.
  • Verified all cylinders were up to date with hydrostatic testing dates.
  • Completed tasks on each job site efficiently, correctly, in a timely and professional manner.
