- Proficient in the use of manual and CNC lathes, mills, and grinders. Also experienced in the use of sheet metal shears, bending brakes, hand and hydraulic tubing benders, arbor and hydraulic presses, acetylene and propane torches, heat treating ovens, and various types of saws.
- Work with engineers to create, develop, and refine meat cutting tools for the processing industry. This includes offering guidance to engineering for improvements in ease of production and cost reduction.
- Develop my own processes, design and build my own fixtures, write my own programs, select my own tooling for the creation of whatever is needed by engineering.
- Studied daily work instruction, sketches, drawings, blueprints and manuals to determine dimensions and tolerances accurately.
- Proficient in MIG and TIG welding as well as some experience with soldering.
- Experience with a wide range of materials, including but not limited to carbon steel, stainless steel, foams, plastics, brass, copper, tool steels, and wood. This includes solid bar stock, tubing, sheet, and expanded metal.
- Experience with epoxies, adhesives and paints.

I have performed regular maintenance, engine rebuilds, and complete drivetrain swaps, as well as system repairs such as brakes, electrical, and computer related issues. In short, my vehicles only go to the shop if I do not possess the proper equipment to perform the repair. Upgrades to improve performance have also been completed. I am currently teaching myself to do my first complete restoration of a 1970 Volkswagen Beetle.
