I would make sure pets had food and water.

Give them love and attention so they don't feel lonely. I would just make sure everything stayed how it was before the owners left.

I volunteered with blacksmithing, we would go to different events and places to do blacksmithing and show people how to do it and do demonstrations. We also would go to schools and make new bike racks for them.
