 Contacted voters via phone in Suffolk County, NY on behalf of The Tim Sini Campaign for District Attorney in campaign offices in both Hauppauge and Riverhead, NY.  Provided information about the candidate to voters in the community.  Participated in field campaign to introduce Tim Sini to residents in Suffolk County.  Helped streamline mailing campaign which included folding and mailing letters to voters all over Suffolk County, NY.

 Recruited, enrolled and managed fathers throughout Suffolk County, NY via grassroots community networking.  Utilizing a mentor-oriented management style, inspired fathers to develop better relationships with their children, helped them obtain primary documents necessary for employment (birth certificate, Social Security card, etc), prepared them for job interviews, and supported their re-entry into society via counseling and life coaching. Conducted orientations throughout various communities to introduce the fatherhood program to prospective fathers.  Spearheaded a joint effort with the Suffolk County Police Department, "Shop with a Cop", that provided Christmas toys for over 25 underprivileged children.  The project was covered by News 12 Long Island and attended by Police Commissioner, Tim Sini.  Resigned to commit to going to law school.

 Supervised Correction Officers, ensured that the care, custody and control of inmates was being effectuated.  Responsible for touring housing areas in order to inspect officer alertness, staff safety, housing area habitability, cleanliness, inmate safety and overall housing area integrity.  Conducted investigations re: assaults on staff, inmate assaults, inmate infractions, staff misconduct, sexual assaults and violations of inmate minimum standards.  Supervised various units and details within the facility including security, investigations, programs, institutional response team, forced entry team, control room, mental observation inmate housing areas, and highly assaultive inmate housing areas. Managed entire tours as a control room supervisor where responsibilities included: post assignment, ensuring officers were relieved responsibly, staffing hospital runs, staffing special clinics, coordinating alarm responses, meeting staffing demands for the following tour and monitoring overtime costs via various innovative staffing strategies designed to improve cost control while maintaining optimum security of the facility and ensuring the safety of both staff and inmates.  Retired in April, 2012.

Identified and notified security of all gang members in housing area.
