• Manager of SUS' Engineering and Microgrids Division with nineteen years of engineering, management, quality control, distributed generation, energy efficiency, automation and microgrid experience. Licensed Professional Engineer in North Carolina and Certified Energy Manager.
• Designs and implements innovative and practical approaches to technology solutions for the electrical distribution system for the Fort Liberty Army Installation. Value engineering approach to help the Army control costs, increase service reliability, and electrical resiliency for the grid.
• Produces SUS' Annual Service Plan consisting of Annual Budget and Expenditure Report, 5-Year System Upgrade Plan, Operations and Maintenance Plan including the 8-Year Maintenance Patrol Schedule and the 6-Year Right-of-Way Trimming Schedule, Periodic System Studies, Quality Control Plan and Emergency Operations Plan.
• Worked for Electric Cooperatives for over 29 years. Worked for SUS maintaining the electrical distribution system for Fort Liberty Army Installation since October 2004.

Responsible for the management and general direction of Corporate Services, Warehouse, and Information Technology.

• Designed overhead and underground electric transmission and distribution facilities. Prepared labor and material contracts, bid documents, construction cost estimates, and system studies.
• Project experience includes system improvements, voltage conversions, DOT highway relocations, military base system privatizations, GPS/GIS mapping, system valuations, overhead to underground conversions and forensic investigations.

Responsible for the management and general direction of Finance and Accounting, Warehouse and Purchasing, Human Resources, Information Technology, Quality Assurance, and Safety/Environmental.

• Responsible for overseeing and inspecting the day to day activities of all construction contractors including quality of work, safety compliance, access to base and facilities, and scheduling of work.
• Responsible for final QA inspections and government acceptance.
