During my 10 Years in the Air Force I maintained a Journeyman status in the Interior Electric Department and also the High Voltage Lineman Department. After Being Medically Retired in 1991 Because of an injury, I was hired as a Lineman for the City of Baldwin, Ks. During my 10 years there I was able to work my way into the Electrical Superintendent position, holding that position the last 2 years of service there. During these same years I was a volunteer FireFighter / Emt with the City of Garnett and Anderson County. I also worked at Saint Lukes Hospital for Anderson County EMS. I have multiple certificates for both areas in those services. In 2002 I went to work for KCPL as a Journeyman LIne at the Joco Service center, until I moved to the South District in 2005. I worked as a Lineman until I moved into a Leadman Position. After Leadman I moved to the position I currently hold as a Local Rep. During this time I was training as a Estimator/planner and also held a Triple L position for 14 months. While with KCPL and evergy I continued my fire service career and training in that field, until I retired from that service. Since 1988 I have been doing line work and since 1984 I have been doing some short of electric work.
