As a practicing professional artist and educator with a strong foundation in fine arts and liberal arts. Further honed artistic skills at the Florence Academy of Art in Italy and through apprenticeships in New York City before completing MFA. Owner and operator of the Read Lockhart Gallery in Taos, NM for the past 8 years alongside wife, Kristel Parada Saavedra, an accomplished designer and photographer.
