- Investigated chemistry behind E.coli and modified E.coli into biological products that can detect specific concentrations of phosphate inside water that can potentially be recycled.
- Cultured E.coli in labs for 2 days and maintained that quality of E.coli to be able to endure different environment.
- Utilized enzymatic cleavage to replace part of E.coli DNA to be able to illuminate in controlled range of phosphate concentrations, and finalized the biological product.
- Organized information about the product, and created introduction videos on the product to be shown at competition.
