Implement and manage the water utility cross connection control program in multiple water districts to prevent contamination of the publics potable water supply.

Perform on-site surveys and hazard assessments to identify actual or potential cross connections hazards between the public water system and other water sources or hazards.

Ensure proper installation, maintenance and annual testing of backflow prevention assemblies. and enforce local and state regulations to safeguard drinking water quality.

Maintain records of surveys, tests, inspections and necessary corrective actions.

Work in partnership with customers to educate, so they understand how to identify, prevent and rectify cross-connections; protecting the publics potable water system.

Lead and work alongside a crew in operating leak detection equipment to repair, maintain infrastructure like water mains, hydrants and services.

Coordinate and oversee, leak crews, water shutdowns, public notification, traffic control, BMP's, safety, testing and paperwork.

Assist in performing essential maintenance and repair of water facility infrastructure.
