Davis Mahoney

My name is Davis Mahoney and I am 16 years old. I currently attend Byron P. Steele High-school as a sophomore enrolled in all honors and college level classes. I work hard to maintain satisfactory grades in all my classes while still maintaining a positive social life. I am my schools mascot, Knightro. I have been the mascot for past 2 years and have been improving performance by performance. I am also in FCCLA. FCCLA stands for Family, Career, Community Leaders of America. I have been in FCCLA for 4 years and have been to nationals twice and en route to attend this year’s nationals. FCCLA has not only taught me but aided in improving my speaking skills. FCCLA has taught me to be a leader, how to be confident in myself, how to work effectively with others, and to work hard. FCCLA also taught me the valuable skill of time management. It taught me this by having me follow a strict deadline for every part of my project. I also have completed the STEM pathway for engineering at my school two years ahead of schedule. I am very much a people person with tons of experience talking to different types of people. I love interacting with different kinds of people and putting smiles on my faces. This is why I am the mascot for my school and why I was the mascot for Country Grace Farms.
