• Delivered exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns, and building customer loyalty. Simultaneously, using customized sales pitches to encourage optimal vehicle maintenance, educate customers about the significance of preventative maintenance, and maintain the company’s target sales goals. A Valvoline Senior Technician is a leadership role responsible for performing vehicle maintenance and repairs, supervising and training other technicians, and ensuring high customer service standards. Key duties include performing preventive maintenance, such as oil changes, differential, radiator, and transmission fluid replacements, tire rotations, light, wiper, battery, belt, and air filter replacements, AC recharges, and fuel system cleanings on a multitude of different vehicles, while also mentoring junior staff and assisting the Service Center Manager with customer service solutions. The position requires a strong knowledge of Valvoline's products and services, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Following all company procedures and standards, contributing to a positive atmosphere, and cultivating a culture of safety and respect.

• Drive to restaurants, pick up food orders, and ensure that the food matches the orders. Drive ordered food to customer residences and offices, delivering orders either to the customer’s door or meeting customers on a curbside outside of the delivery location. Used GPS technology, knowledge of the roads, and common sense to locate restaurants and customer addresses. Comprehension of hundreds of customer and restaurant-specific instructions. Coordinating multiple delivery orders at once, while managing gas levels, gas mileage, total miles driven, and proper vehicle maintenance, while traversing various driving conditions.

• Operated heavy machinery, such as multiple fuel trucks and airport tugs. I used my knowledge and handling skills to fuel aircraft, pull planes from hangars into the desired location, and push planes into their proper hangars at the end of the workday. The job required a decent level of physical prowess, as we had to lift heavy objects, such as tow bars, and push entire airplanes. The job required precision and concentration to avoid damaging equipment and aircraft.

• Memorization of the entire menu, multiple store layouts, and the order-taking system. Assembling all food with the proper techniques, portions, placements, and sizes. Learned how to take orders, make food, and clean with incredible hustle. Able to stretch 100 pizzas in an hour. Taking on managerial responsibilities as a teenager and a minimum-wage employee, such as cashing out delivery drivers. This included filling out the required paperwork, tracking mileage, cash/card tips, and calculating how much cash they were allowed to take home. Opening and closing the store. Prepping ingredients for the upcoming shifts. Unloading and organizing the commissary deliveries. Recording and tracking inventory using our specific software.

• Completed the 'Step Up' job readiness program to acquire the position. Delivered and served food to senior living communities. We improvised meals from the campus kitchen's leftovers to mitigate food waste while providing free food to the surrounding inner-city community. Regularly transported and served food to a community center called the Brian Coyle Center. Gleaned food from the local farmer’s market and distributed it to different senior living communities. I wrote essays to consolidate research on urban food insecurity and food deserts.

• (Ages 11-14) De-weeding a majority of my neighbor's yard. Usually, in the summer, with little to no shade for hours at a time. Using a hose to water newly planted trees. Shoveling dirt into a wheelbarrow, and then laying stone for a driveway expansion. Running the 100-pound-plus wheelbarrow up a ramp into a trunk for disposal. Using a hoe to even the land. Using hedge shears to remove large, woody bushes.

Most general graduation credits are completed. Experience in the Air Force ROTC program with some credits in military science. I started my academic career pursuing a bachelor's degree in Commercial Aviation with some completed credit requirements. Some completed credits towards a cybersecurity minor as well. I plan on finishing/continuing my education soon whilst working a full-time job.
