Dawn Crum

In this position I worked directly under the clinic owner, who also was the supervisor of my BCBA fieldwork. I was exposed to clients ages 3-6 with autism. While the majority of my time was spent in the clinic, I did some school based shadowing in Humphreys, Perry, and Houston county schools. After completing my coursework, I spent a brief time with more BCBA focused training. I was also promoted to lead RBT the last month I was with The Brook Center.

• Supervisor of developmental therapy and early intervention.
• ABA focused staff training
• Conducted developmental screenings and assessments to identify areas of delay and strengths in children.
• Collaborating with families, doctors, and other professionals to gather information about the child's development.
• In-home and center-based developmental therapy for children ages 3 and under with focus on skills such as motor abilities, cognitive development, language, social-emotional skills, and self-regulation.
• Parent training

• Building and tailoring personalized care plans, generating individualized client goals in order to maximize overall clinical health outcomes, and conducting crisis assessments.
• Building relationships with community resources, ensuring clients are aware of available support services.
• Maintaining accurate documentation on all cases.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to address needs and construct support strategies.
