Info: Ensemble is a third party vendor that HSHS hired to take over the revenue cycle dept. My job of Rev Cycle Analyst had to go to Ensemble.

• Analyzed revenue cycle processes to identify inefficiencies, trends, incorrect postings and resolved errors thru to resolution
• Supported data entry and verification for patient accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Collaborated with cross-functional teams to resolve billing discrepancies & posting errors.
• Resolved Medicare Credits on patient accounts; researched if credits were true credits or posting errors. Resolved by either notifying Medicare of credit balance, reprocessed claims or fixing and correcting posting of adjustments/payments

Resolved Credit balances for Self pay accounts & Insurance. Researched why there is a credit balance on an account and verified before refunding. I handled all refund requests, I cut refund checks in our system and mailed the paper checks out weekly.

Owned paying a third party for anesthesiology services on our Self-pay cosmetic surgery accounts. I made sure we were always in compliance paying correctly per our contract with Green Bay Anesthesiology Associates

Assisted in developing training materials for staff on revenue cycle best practices, procedures and approval process of refunds.

Worked and reviewed audit data collected from an outsourced audit company on our yearly audits. I worked issues they may have come across to resolution.

• Supervised billing operations, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
• Approved Payroll, vacations for staff of 12 (small rural hospital facility)
• I was instrumental in the merging of Community Memorial Hospital with HSHS organization, changing the name to St. Clare Memorial. I worked closely with the CFO to show due diligence before the changing of hands. Cleaned up all outstanding programs, accounts and contracts then closed them. Worked daily goals to ensure a timely transition. Transferred all employees to the HSHS system and office
