Dawn Livingston is a dedicated and compassionate board-certified mental health nurse  practitioner with a wealth of experience spanning 28 years in the medical field. Her educational  journey began with an associate's degree from Kilgore College, followed by a bachelor's degree  from Western Governors University. Dawn culminated her academic pursuits by earning a  Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University, equipping her with the expertise to make  a significant impact in her field. Throughout her extensive career, Dawn has practiced in a diverse array of medical areas,  including psychiatry, primary care, gastrointestinal health, oncology, emergency medicine, and  surgery. Her unique experiences also extend to the jail system, where she gained valuable  insights into the challenges faced by individuals needing both medical and psychiatric care. This  exposure, along with her work as a paramedic in the field and emergency room, highlighted the  often-overlooked connection between the mind and body. It became a driving force behind her  decision to specialize as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, focusing on the holistic  well-being of her patients.

My objective is to use my strong dedication to support those with mental health disorders and my significant clinical expertise in providing comprehensive treatment to positively impact the well-being of those in need of help.
