Pulled all filters/parts etc. for upcoming Locomotive PM's & defect work. Replaced inventory as needed.
Placed blue flag/lock out tracks.
Changed Locomotive filters Air. Oil. Fuel. Carbody.
Performed wheel inspections & documented reports.
Some experience with identifying brake shoes that are B/O & replacing them.
Check Hyatt boxes & journal boxes.
Check Traction Motor brushes.
Inspect steps. handrails. catwalk. cab. for defects.
Removing/prepping Loco prior to sanding/paint.
Locomotive sanding w/DA Sanders using various grits.
Some experience with bondo.
Some experience with prepping pressure pot & have used pressure pot 2x to paint loco from the belt down.
Hand roll/fine paint on catwalks. fine hand painting.
Collect oil samples & ship them out.
Maintain all locomotive files year to year.
Travel out of state for Contract PM's.
