Project Description: Requirement gathering from Business Analyst. Functionality involved FI, BPC, APO, SD. Design and develop BW solutions aligning with SAP BO design. Solutions involve customizing SAP Extractors, creating generic extractors, designing complex BW data flows, Customer exists and user Interface, onsite coordinator for offshore strength of ~ 6 SAP BW resources and 5 onsite resources. Production cut-over / transport co-ordination.

BI Analysts for North America and Canada

Project Description: Scheduled and led Business Intelligence (BI) deep-dive sessions that followed the initial Fit Change Assessment (FCA) session training the super users received. The purpose of the deep -dive sessions was to review current reports for each area (Sales, Finance, etc.) and document any gaps in reporting. The differences were then examined by the business, BI, BPOs to determine if a change request was required or a current reporting solution could be a viable solution. I gathered the requirements for each change I was assigned. I oversaw the coordination of the other requests to be sure the rest of the team evaluated and gathered information to categorize as a change or a FIT.

• During the build phase, I worked on designs assigned, meeting with the business, BPOs, super users to gather the full requirements. Once the design was approved I created the technical documents. I then coordinated the handoff with the development team.
• I created/modified the SIT documents and performed SIT script execution, logged defects, managed the BI defects, and reported on the status of those defects. During UAT testing, I supported the supers users through working sessions, attended trainings, and sharing details of testing only the change request (CR) changes. I analyzed defects and assigned to the appropriate developer and coordinated a further understanding of the issue.
• Supported the super-users during hypercare; triaged, analyzed and managed incident resolution.

Responsible for analysis, design, and implementation of new and existing code within the SAP BW, ECC, HCM, EWM, SCM, CRM, and HANA environment supporting the Replicate for SAP and Gold Client applications.

• Worked closely with product management and professional services to define requirements for the Replicate for SAP Data Warehouse and the Gold Client Applications.

• Requirements gathering, development and implementation of customized BW solutions to modernize the marketing capabilities for our Career Agent System to be able to measure level of success by marketing program and campaigns

Conversion of 3.5 InfoSpoke to 7.0 Open Hub

• Performed requirements gathering and documentation for FI InfoSpokes
•  Created functional and technical specs, including Gap analysis and test plans
• Converted complex InfoSpoke BADIs to Class Modules that could be called by the Open Hub extraction.
•  The currency conversion check box did not work
• Wrote ABAP code to move the source package into a global internal table and converted the currency (this functionality does not currently work in the DTP)
• Converted a delta InfoSpoke into a full Open Hub
• Used 2 DSOs 1) Current load 2) Historical Loads to create a suedo delta for the Open Hub extraction from the 1st DSO.
• Used the program Beyond Compare to compare the InfoSpoke and Open Hub Technology extract results.

Conversion of 3.5 to 7.0 objects

• Converted 3.5 DataSources to 7.0 DataSources
•  Converted complex update and transfer rules and start routines to 7.0 transformation (start, end, expert routines) and DTPs.
• Created process chains to automate loads that are triggered by complex maestro job streams

Responsible for creating, maintaining and executed automated test scripts using Quick Test Professional (QTP) software.

Key projects:.

• Proactively recorded scripts that tested agent facing portal which identified several areas that had not been tested through manual test cases.
• Create a QTP script that was used to recreate performance automated test scripts.

As the discipline to create customized reports matured I managed my time between support and new product development.

• My role in the development area was to create extensive and complicated financial and most commonly used reports for a new windows based product (using a database called Cache and SQL).

Responsible for researching and resolving customer issues, installing the software and hardware necessary to run the rental management software, and training customers on how to use and report off of the system.

I am very proficient in the area of Structured Query Language (SQL) and was responsible for writing, testing and deploying some of the most complicated customer requested reports through the front end reporting tool Crystal Reports. Later support also included training users on how to create their own custom reports.
