During my service as a Section Leader/ Squad Leader in a Low Altitude Air Defense (LAAD) unit, I directed section-level operations while ensuring mission execution remained aligned with higher command intent and operational objectives. In this leadership role, I coordinated closely with LAAD firing team leaders, executed mission orders in dynamic environments, and maintained continuous situational awareness to support tactical decision-making during operations. I operated and maintained advanced air defense weapon systems, including the FIM-92 Stinger Missile System, the Lightweight Marine Air Defense Integrated System (LMADIS), and the Marine Air Defense Integrated System (MADIS), contributing to the unit’s overall combat readiness and force protection capabilities.

In addition to tactical leadership responsibilities, I demonstrated strong proficiency in weapons handling, combat instruction, and operational security. I communicated effectively with personnel through tactical radio systems and hand signals during field operations and provided security support during high-risk transportation and storage missions involving sensitive assets. As a Combat Marksmanship Coach (CMC), I instructed and mentored new shooters on proper firearms handling, weapons safety, and marksmanship fundamentals. I also conducted range training exercises designed to improve shooting accuracy and precision, assisted in the development of range safety procedures, and ensured all firearms were properly maintained through routine inspections, cleaning, and performance evaluations. My qualifications include expert-level proficiency with the M4 rifle and M240B machine gun, marksman qualification with the M9 pistol, Combat Lifesaver (CLS) certification, Intermediate Swim qualification, and a Brown Belt certification through the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program (MCMAP).

Throughout my military career, I consistently demonstrated leadership, adaptability, and the ability to develop personnel in high-pressure environments. I expanded team operational capabilities by spearheading the training and mentorship of more than 20 new personnel, ensuring they were effectively prepared for mission requirements and operational standards. Additionally, I advised and assisted leadership in the planning, collection, and implementation of intelligence disciplines across a broad spectrum of intelligence operations. My experience reflects a strong foundation in leadership, tactical operations, team development, and mission-focused execution within demanding and rapidly evolving environments
