Safely carried out the turn around process on the reactors in CVD.

Harvested poly safely while adhering to quality procedures.

Operation of air tools, channel locks, air operated tilt units, air operated coffins, 15 ton/2 ton cranes, and pallet mules.

Respirator fit tested as well as pallet mule/fork truck certified.

Put away stock and maintain a clean environment as well as call out trash/waste.

Perform work on baseplate of reactor to do with electrodes and water hoses.

Perform various PMs in the reactor room and pipe tunnels including on the ABC (automated baseplate cleaner)

Help ECO replace valves and troubleshoot when necessary

Know the lockout of reactors inside and out and walk them down before each TA

• In my role with Corteva, I have had the opportunity to learn the chemical process from scratch
• We used process technology such as IP21, Dowtran and MOD5 to run our process
• Learning all process equipment including heat exchangers, cooling towers, automated and manual valves, different types of instruments, pumps, motors, and many more.
• Operating by loading drums, red tagging, small pipefitting jobs, sampling, running GC/LC in the lab, performing PMs on process equipment and troubleshooting problems that arise with equipment
• One of my main tasks at the plant is to complete all compliance safety tasks
• I am SCBA fit tested as well as PIT/JLG lift certified

• In my role with Huntington, my main objective was customer service
• With this role I advised customers on banking products such as different loans and credit cards
• I also helped open new accounts and worked a teller position helping with everyday transactions
• In this role I also got experience training less knowledgeable employees

• In my role with E Maintenance, I had the opportunity to work on various construction projects
• These included demo work, flooring, working with hand tools/power tools, framing, and more construction work
• This role built a good foundation of mechanical knowledge and problem-solving thinking that I still use in my life daily
• During my time working for this contractor, I also developed my hand tool, battery operated tool, and mechanical thinking experience
