My time at Costco started with what they call the "front end" department. Here I worked as a cashier and a bagger, the environment was very fast paced and required you to multi task. For example, looking up items if they were in stock, speaking to our members with any questions or issues they had. I always volunteered to offer another hand at all times. I worked around many departments and made sure that our members were number one. I moved around departments frequently from pushing carts to moving into different departments through out the day during rush hours. I made sure that our members had a depth of knowledge with any questions they had and my goal was to make sure they had a great experience. An environment that helped me grow to develop many different skills in a customer service job, as well as learning how to use complex computer skills.
During my experience at Olive Garden I was in a position excitingly ready to welcome guests into a friendly place and the last to leave an excellent impression for the guests and to the restaurant. I began working as a Host, my position required me to answer incoming phone calls from our customers and seating our guests.
