• Under the supervision of a registered dietitian, to support staff of burn unit, 12-bed Intensive Care Unit in UC Davis Medical Center
• Assisted in Passing of patient trays in a timely manner including breakfast, lunch and snacking time; - Assisted with feeding of patients;
• Preparing burn shake using blender and high-temperature dish machine in the Burn ICU nutrition room; - Assisting nurse to retrieve tube feeding or food from Food and Nutrition Services main kitchen and unit floor stock room
• Practice hygiene protocols and follow isolation procedures when entering the patient room
• Shadowing registered dietitian interns and recording patients’ diet preferences.

- Assists and observes the UC Davis Medical Center occupational therapist providing hand therapy rehabilitation;
- Clean treatment area with disinfecting solution and maintain sterilization;
- Check temperature of warm water bath, wax tank and ice bath to ensure fall within proper temperature range;
- Organize equipment and consistently sterilize used treatment tools.
