- My co-teacher and I developed and implemented a child-centered curriculum, focusing on the emerging interests of children. The children explored different themes in a given week, or over multiple weeks. We thoughtfully planned and creatively incorporated these emerging themes into the classroom plans, based on the interests and passions of the students. We also included parent feedback.
- Held conferences with parents to address questions, discuss documented growth, and encourage learning goals.
- Participated in workshops and conferences to improve my educational skills and diversity, equity, inclusion training which is a core mission of FTCNS.
- Wrote newsletters for parents regularly.
