Independent Research:
Principal Investigator on an academic research project investigating the influence of short form video content on subjective perception of time. Ran 2 studies through a Behavioral Research Lab at 2 major universities with over 100 participants each. Presented paper at the 2024 American Marketing Association Winter Academic Conference.
Brophy Research Journal/Club:
Founded and served as Editor-in-Chief of a high school research journal during the 2024-2025 academic year.
2024 Fall Edition (1st ever issue) published in October 2024, complete with 6 student-led academic research projects. Modeled professional journals in terms of both format and content. One issue published each semester.
Mentored 2 student-led projects run within the club.
High-achieving high school student who advanced to the final stage of the National Merit Scholarship Program, representing less than 1% of high school graduating seniors. Students (approximately 15,000 annually) are selected from the pool of National Merit Semifinalists based on their outstanding academic record, SAT/ACT scores, and a recommendation from their high school principal.
