• Prepared welding equipment to perform the desired task and troubleshooted machines prior to delivering to maintenance.
• Proficient in using gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc, and flux-cored arc welding with aluminum and steel.
• Removed and repaired unacceptable welds with milling tools and various grinder attachments to meet quality guidelines.
• Assemble parts according to blueprint specifications and tolerances.
• Operated jig hoists, forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, and cranes for critical lifts.
• Welded in all positions and in non-permit confined space.
• Inspected welds for accuracy and conformance to specifications then dye penetrant tested the weld.
• Cut and fit internal and external piping to meet exact specifications after the welding operation was completed.
• Assisted in preforming pre-task safety assessment to identify and prevent hazards.
• Preformed and led pneumatic tests on pressure vessels and piping; along with hydrostatic testing explosion joints.
• Preformed multiple bundle scopes and joins.
