Monitoring and supervising inmate activity and behaviors, de-escalating conflicts, conducting routine security checks, looking for signs of life, making sure inmates are safe and that they are keeping up with hygiene, making sure their cells are clean and meet facility standards, searching for contraband, ensuring I have a proper headcount in my pod, confirming that inmates are in their proper cells, and enforcing facility rules and regulations. Also, being ready for any medical emergencies and always on standby to help other staff with emergency situations.
