As an H-60 Project Lead and Aircraft Mechanic III, my focus is on driving advancements in maintenance processes for a fleet that includes MH-60R and MH-60S helicopters. My academic foundation from Embry-Riddle, paired with hands-on expertise, propels our mission to enhance operational readiness for the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps.

In collaboration with a dedicated team, we've accelerated maintenance schedules and optimized procedural efficiencies, ensuring aircraft are mission-ready. My role extends beyond maintenance to include training staff, diagnosing systems issues, and conducting field tests.

  • Performed aircraft maintenance for scheduled preventive actions and unscheduled requirements.
  • Analyzed engineering drawings and schematics to troubleshoot systems and diagnose solutions.
  • Performed aircraft corrosion control procedures.
  • Read and interpreted aircraft documentation to determine repair feasibility and methods.
  • Troubleshot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems and tested equipment following repairs.

  • After my sea rotation I transitioned to HSM-41 where my responsibilities grew to supervise the on time completion of numerous inspections and supervision of 250+ technicians and over $1,250,000,000 of equipment and the MH-60R aircraft
  • In this time I attended Airframes 'A' school and was fortunate enough to also attend Airframes 'C' school, while attending both of these foundational courses I gained the ability to perform structural repairs, preventative maintenance, metal worker, corrosion removal and treatment, as well as using job specific tools, including bridge removal tools, and flight control balance and rigging devices
  • I was able to gain many years of experience in reading aircraft blueprints, technical manuals, and IETMs to be able to return aircraft to service and make sure the flight schedule happens as accurately as possible
  • Proficient in hydraulic systems troubleshooting and repair, to include pumps and how they relate to the flight control system, flight control maintenance to include push rods, servos, and adjusting blade angles as well as setting and checking cable tensions utilizing specialized tools to meet the expectations of maintenance control and the flight schedule
