For my position I would always greet the guest as soon as they walk through the door and help them accordingly. Answering questions, making sure the floor is always up to date with correct information, along with keeping the manager and other co workers up to date on phone calls, to go orders, reservations, large parties, special request, bull riding, and latin nights.

Being the only graveyard hostess, I had a lot of responsibility. It was important for me to do side work to set up for the morning shift/day along with my normal night shift, know all food, beverage, dessert, and special menus for to go orders for hotel guest, take care of VIP’s, make sure the servers knew their section for each night, seat accordingly for rush hours.

With this being my longest job in the restaurant industry, I covered everything from a front desk greeter, a lead hostess, to go orders, food, pantry preparations, bussing and cleaning, and food running.
