Summary

I have the privilege of working at the State of Florida Office of the Attorney General, under the direction of General Ashley Moody, which I am currently in the role of Audit Evaluation and Review Analyst. My goal is to continue my career in a supervisory role with a team of professionals to resolve and investigate provider fraud, exploitation of the elderly, and other financial crimes within the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit.

Audit Evaluation and Review Analyst

  • Obtains and maintains comprehensive knowledge of operations and reimbursement policies of Medicare and Medicaid programs
  • Works with an investigative team to plan the financial and audit strategy for criminal and civil fraud investigations
  • Prepares analyses identifying the amounts and types of fraud; Prepares written reports that summarize the conclusions reached during an investigation
  • Reviews financial bank statements, financial data and summarizes findings using audit procedures and financial matters related to the case

  • Reviewed schedule of allotment reports and budget reports, making necessary changes to cover increase purchase requisition or items over encumbered
  • Assisted in the fiscal year annual closings, cash closings, and certified forward transactions.
