With 20 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, I have had the privilege of working with diverse populations, from pediatric to geriatric patients, including those facing complex medical and emotional challenges. I am dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care that honors the dignity of each individual and supports their families through critical moments. A strong communicator and collaborator, I build positive, professional relationships with peers to enhance patient outcomes and foster a supportive work environment. As a natural caregiver, I bring high levels of intuition and empathy into any area of nursing I have had the privledge to serve in, whether as employment or volunteer opportunities. Nursing is more than a profession to me, it is a calling.
Outside of my professional life, I am committed to maintaining a healthy work-life balance by enjoying the natural beauty of the Colorado outdoors through mountaineering Locally I enjoy the Manitou Incline regularly and seek paddleboarding and hiking all over the area I also travel for backpacking trips annually and drag my teens along for adventure whenever possible We enjoy family skiing as well as rock climbing regularly When not adventuring I enjoy reading and audiobooks, hot springs and restaurant hopping Secretly I have always dreamed of being the "library lady" who reads children's books in animated voices
USAF - I served Active Duty from 1995-1997, and then served as a military spouse from 2007-2017.
