  • I was part of the Recruitment and Staffing Team which consist of 50 states throughout the United States. I provide services to all 50 states in the areas of issuance of vacancy announcements, receipt, and review rating of job applications. Provide advice and guidance to management officials in carrying out their responsibilities in the hiring and staffing processes. Ensured hiring and staffing functions and actions were accomplished in compliance with all applicable regulatory and procedural requirements and policies.
  • Determine eligibility and qualifications of applicants and referred certificates of candidates to selecting official. Extend tentative job offers and coordinate with other HR staff to ensure that all position requirements are completed including sending final firm offers, setting pay, use of correct appointing authorities.
  • Review and audit all vacancy files to ensure that they are accurate, completed, and secure. Utilize automated personnel systems to code, process and sign personnel actions for all kinds of personnel actions.

  • Conduct quality reviews of HRA/S work in all functional areas and in audits and internal reviews within the HR teams to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and laws of OPM.   • Performs calculations of SCD dates in the GRB, prepares SF75 for gaining agencies for our leaving employees. Recruits for a variety of positions screens and analyzes applicants’ resumes and applications for eligibility, reviews applicants’ qualifications, veteran’s status.
  • Distributes and balance the workload among Human Resources Assistants from the shop. Monitors the work and evaluates the quality of processing work within the branch. Conducts and leads orientation activities for new employees and assists in securing Linc-Passes. Oversees personnel reports are retrieved to ensure personnel actions processed accordingly and timely. Resolves processing problems including errors and edits identified in EmpowHR, NFC SINQ reports. Process separating employees by conducting exit interviews and explaining clearance procedures. Complete Lump Sum payments for annual leave and complete transfers of leave.
  • Completes complex history corrections (HCUP) actions. Verifies processing accuracy of employment, pay and benefits actions, ensuring compliance with regulatory and procedural requirements while also monitoring the timeliness of personnel actions and employee information changes.
