- Surveyed highway construction project before work started. Cross section, alignment, checked benchmarks, blue top according to ODOT specification.
- Inspected and tested all aspects of highway construction in accordance with ODOT Specification and AASHTO.
- Instructed First Aid and CPR for 5 years
- Managed Ardmore Residency lab for 9 years.
- Sampling and testing in accordance with OHDL and AASHTO. Reviewed results, entered into SiteManager. e-mailed to contraction in a timely manner. Maintained, filed, and audited materials received. Calculated penalties.
- Maintained and repaired equipment (air meters).
- As lab manager I tested Asphalt, aggregates, concrete and soils. I'm current in all certification.
- Materials Division 12 years. Observes, instruct, evaluate construction and lab personnel and other OHCMTCB certified technicians from residencies, consultants and contractor quality control performing acceptance sampling and testing. Perform Lab Audit/Review inspections on private consultant and contractors QC labs to meet ODOT'S Laboratory Qualification Policy. Review their lab manual and equipment to be allow to be placed on qualified lab status.
- Performs Asphalt plant certification inspections to meet ODOT'S asphalt plant inspection policy. Documenting issues and deficiencies with the asphalt plant inspection checklist. Document plant inspections and scale certification promptly in siteManager.
- Schedules and evaluates Certified Technicians that meet requirements for Alternative Re-Certification Program and administers tests if neccessary.
