In this role, I was responsible for efficiently loading and unloading package containers, ensuring secure transfers between the warehouse, trucks, and aircraft. I built and broke down air cargo containers, following strict safety protocols and maintaining organization to optimize workflow. I routinely sorted and scanned small packages to ensure accurate tracking and timely processing. Utilizing equipment such as pallet jacks and pushcarts (gaylords), I safely transported heavy shipments while maintaining a clean and orderly work environment. Additionally, I conducted inventory checks on air express containers, verifying piece count, weight, and documentation to comply with air safety and security guidelines. My ability to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with team members, and maintain attention to detail contributed to the smooth and efficient operation of package handling and distribution.
