To whom it may concern,
I am proud to write a reference letter for Deb George. I worked at Relation Insurance Services
with Deb for around a year and a half. Deb got hired as my manager when I was an Accounting Specialist
for the Direct Bill team. Prior to Deb joining the Direct Bill team, we had various issues with
communicating and getting information from other Business offices, as well as difficulties managing our
workloads and doing extra work. Deb was able to come in and fix a lot of our issues resulting in much
better efficiency. She would set up lines of communication with the other businesses and wouldn’t
hesitate to intervene if we were still not getting information for us to complete our job. In addition, if we
had suggestions or ideas for improving our work flow, Deb would help us get the ideas tested and see
them in practice. She also would keep us up to date on what was occurring with various acquisitions so
the billing team was not overloaded when the new acquisitions came in. Deb was an amazing manager
and always made sure her team was running efficiently, and was always give her time for us if we needed
help.
One specific area Deb assisted with is my workload when she joined. At that time, we were
understaffed and I was doing my regular billing duties, but I was also assisting with the Accounting
department with bank recs and posting journal entries. Deb was informed shortly after that I was
planning to move to the Accounting department full time, but at that time I was trying to balance both
departments and it was difficult. Deb immediately worked with the Accounting department to make
sure my workload was in balance. After a few months of slowly making the transition from billing to
accounting I was able to move up and become an Accountant. I am very grateful for Deb stepping in and
taking charge with my growth within the company.
I have the highest regard for Deb and know that she will be successful in any number of positions
and companies. Anybody would be very lucky to have her as their manager.
